Aadamson House can provide Respite Care. Respite care is the term used for services designed to family/friends a break from caring. Respite is usually a short-term placement and can be used both in an emergency (if carer has been admitted to hospital or becomes unwell) or planned in advance (to allow the carer to take a holiday/visit friends). Respite care may also be used to provide care for a loved one whilst a care package in their own home is arranged.
